I build systems that solve real problems, from robotics on the FRC world stage to agricultural technology out in the field. I design and lead the hardware, the code, and the teams that keep both running after the deadline passes.

Five things I've founded, built, or led. Most of my community work sits inside them: the village workshops, the libraries in Hatay, the science fairs, the robotics competitions I ran for younger students, and the mentorship programmes that came out of each one. Expand any entry to see what it grew into.

As Project Lead I set the technical direction and competition strategy, pulling mechanical, electrical, and software work into one robot that holds up under pressure. I lead across everything the team takes on: the season build, scouting strategy, sponsor outreach, and the community programmes we run alongside competition. Most of the job is keeping a multidisciplinary group aligned, making tradeoffs against hard deadlines, and turning a season of iteration into something that scores. In our rookie season we won the Yeditepe Regional and were recognised at the FIRST World Championship.

A network of solar-powered smart field nodes built around the ESP32-C3, continuously measuring soil moisture, air quality, temperature, humidity, and precipitation. Machine learning turns that field data into risk predictions and recommendations that tighten irrigation, improve crop health, and cut resource waste.

COPS Shield, the humane wildlife module, deters crop damage without harming animals, so productivity and the surrounding ecosystem both hold. Past the prototype I have been working on deployment models with farmers, cooperatives, government programmes, and NGOs to put precision farming within reach of the people who actually need it.

About

Brief
Necati Türker

I have been taking things apart since I was a kid. It started with planes, then widened to anything built to keep working once it leaves the bench. That turned into mechanical engineering and mechatronics, and from there into robotics, embedded systems, and the organisations that keep projects alive. The part I like is where an idea meets the real world and has to survive it: the tolerances, the budget, the deadline, the people.

I study in the German IB Diploma Programme at IELEV and have been in BİLSEM's national gifted-student programme since 2017. Outside school I founded one robotics team and lead another, built an agri-tech platform, and direct a nationwide nonprofit.

Social Impact

8 Initiatives — Nationwide

These initiatives reached thousands of students across Türkiye. Most of what I know about running a project, I learned here first.

After the 2023 earthquakes I coordinated a volunteer initiative with students from several Istanbul high schools, aimed at rebuilding something quiet but necessary in Hatay: access to books. Over roughly three months, we built two school libraries from scratch at Ayşe Fitnat Ortaokulu (Antakya) and Altınözü Atatürk Ortaokulu, shelving about 2,000 books, completed 27 February 2026. Twenty volunteers took part.

The work went beyond libraries: LGS exam coaching at six schools and short robotics introduction sessions, delivered alongside IELEV Key Club, Robolynx, and Robistim. A second phase has since added a third library in Samandağ and around 1,000 more books.

I designed and delivered STEM workshops for students in underserved communities across Türkiye. Scratch and Code.org covered coding fundamentals, robotics gave them something to build with their hands, and origami turned out to be a cheap, tactile way into geometry and design thinking.

The constraint was deliberate. Good STEM teaching using materials and methods that still work when there is no budget for equipment.

As part of Anadolu Cemresi, hands-on science and robotics education has been delivered to children across different provinces of Türkiye. The work aims to develop students' analytical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity, and to get them engaging with technology early.

The Anadolu Cemresi movement grows every day. It has actively reached more than 5,000 students across 17 provinces, and work continues to reach more students in more provinces.

Under T2A I also built a mentorship ecosystem supporting students in TÜBİTAK, TEKNOFEST, research, scientific writing, presentations, and international university admissions.

Fundraising for children with leukemia, raised through three separate fairs and a charity basketball tournament I organised, which turned ordinary school events into a channel for a real cause.

I founded and organized a STEM Science Fair for middle school students and ran it for two consecutive years. I built it around interactive stations instead of a passive exhibition: Arduino electronics, FIRST Robotics demos, VR, cryptology, engineering design challenges, and live science demonstrations.

I ran the whole thing: designing the stations, recruiting and coordinating volunteers, and handling the logistics of a multi-station event for hundreds of kids.

Three separate robotics competitions designed to introduce younger students to robotics, teamwork, and engineering through friendly competitive challenges.

Competition is one of the fastest ways to get students invested. These events gave middle schoolers a low-pressure entry into the same competitive robotics world that shaped my own path.
